Florida State University - Landis Hall Remodeling
Landis Hall, the original "Country Club of Dormitories" at Florida State University was built in 1939 and designed by Rudolph Weaver, the same architect who drew Cawthon Hall, Landis featured all the premium amenities a young coed could hope for: noisy smoking rooms...charming club room...crowded sundeck...house phones in every room...elevators... recreation rooms and lounges...the personification of the fun and wonder of a college coed's dream.

Currently the home of the FSU Honors Program, Landis Hall will again feature the latest in residence hall amenities: suite-style rooms with one bath per two rooms, up-do-date technical wiring, and full ADA compliance. Both the MEP and HVAC systems are marked for upgrade/replacement, full lead and asbestos abatement is required, and historic masonry, plaster, windows, and wood trim will be refurbished.
